Harry Potter and the Three Things That Will Save Him From Dying in This Book.

Don't get me wrong, I love the damn series... but I have a couple of things that I have to rant about right now or else I explode.

1. Epilogues. They can be good things, but in J.K. Rowling's case... no epilogue would have been much much better than that 3 page fan-fic that didn't answer any questions left after Voldy croaks. It actually created more questions, like WTF IS HP DOING TO SUPPORT 3 KIDS!? Is he an Auror like he wanted to be? Maybe he has a nice desk job somewhere in the muggle world? All I know is that Neville is a Herbology professer... that's not the person that got me deeply involved into 7 books J.K... If you write an epilogue, make it actually Epi (Greek/Latin for end) the logue (Greek/Latin for story).

2. Fans creating gay stuff out of hetero characters. Seriously people... even though the stupid epilogue (which I hated) pointed out that Harry and Ginny make babies together, and Ron and Hermione make babies together; why do I still see stupid fan fics and pictures of Snape+Harry, or Harry+Ron. THEY ARE STRAIGHT, STOP TRYING TO CHANGE CHARACTERS THAT YOU DIDN'T CREATE!
This goes for you too Naruto fans... HE LOVES SAKURA, NOT SASUKE! sorry...

3. Harry's choices for kids names. Your wife is Ginny Weasley, your best friend is Ron Weasley, and the only family that ever treated you decently was The Weasley's. Name one of your children Fred for christ's sake! Yeah, Lily and James are great names... but Fred dying affects both you AND your wife. Way to selfish Potter...

4. Finally, I crave more. The fact that I no longer have a Harry Potter book to look forward too kinda makes me sad. I know, it's lame... but I love to read, and Harry Potter made the library and bookstore more popular. I just have this feeling that kids are going to read less now, and that sucks for an avid reader. Hopefully another writer will come around with a compelling story like Rowling, and revitalize books again.
